Valley Isle Screen is owned and operated by Ben and Betty Hunt. Together, they bring a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to screen fabrication and repair, built on years of working side by side serving Maui.

Before stepping into Valley Isle Screen Ben and Betty spent the last nine years building and operating Pono Window Cleaning. That experience shaped how they think about service: show up, communicate clearly, do the work well, and leave things better than you found them.

Our History

In taking over Valley Isle Screen we are committed to carrying forward the long legacy of this locally rooted screen shop that has served Maui for nearly 50 years. The business was originally located on Alamaha Street before moving in 1987 to its current location to support a growing workload.

In August 1988, the shop was purchased by the previous owner, Jim, who operated it for the next 37 years.

Over that time, the shop became known for careful measurements, durable materials, and workmanship that simply fit. Some of the original equipment from those years is still in use today, including the long-standing saw that continues to cut materials reliably decades later.
